CLIMATS du COUCHANT - PINOT NOIR 2017 Russian River Valley

A very light and balanced Pinot noir from Russian River Valley in Sonoma county, with Pommard accents, and a Burgundy style. The wine has been aging in French Oak barrels for 20 months, then bottled early May 2019. Its color, is very light and like our famous 2013, has orange accents on the side, reminding the older burgundy vintages. It has a light structure in the mouth, delivers all kind of red fruit flavors. With less complexity than our famous 2013 and 2015 vintages, this wine blends in a very smooth and pleasant experience, with a nice finish, which makes it the ideal go-to-wine for summer lunches or evening drinks!

Our Pinot Noir is a grown on 2 blocks from the famed Bacigalupi Vineyard in Russian River Valley. We picked up at 2 different dates from each block, and performed a mix of whole cluster and berries fermentation.
