Our ideal white summer wine... Russian River Valley Sonoma Chardonnay, made in French oak, with a Burgundy style. A perfect bottle to start the evening with friends...

Our petit Climat is made together with our Climats du Couchant Chardonnay. The grapes were harvested late in the season, with full ripeness to deliver the fruity accents. Fermented with native yeasts at low temperatures, the wine was then sur lie aged 10 months in French Oak barrels and stirred twice weekly during the first four months of barrel aging. We are using our more fruity barrels to create this new blend.

This wine shows a bright and vibrant golden color, and exhibits aromas of lemon zest, vanilla, and hints of salty caramel.

The finish, with a light oak note, is long and very nice to the palate. Served around 55-57F, le Petit Climat brings joy to your summer evenings.

Our Chardonnay was bottled unfiltered with minimal intervention in order to best express the beautiful terroir of the Bacigalupi vineyard, or its “Climat” per the burgundy definition.
